Our Story
Isla Studio Arts was founded on a simple belief:
Every pet deserves to be remembered with warmth, sincerity, and art.
Our founder, Isla, studied Fine Arts in university and has a genuine appreciation for animals. After graduation, she continued exploring artistic mediums and discovered needle-felting—a medium whose natural warmth and texture perfectly captures the spirit of the pets she loves to portray.
What began as a personal way to honor her own pets has now grown into a studio trusted by families across the world.
To us, pets are never “just pets.” They are family, companions, healers, and gentle witnesses to our lives.
Our Art
Each portrait is handcrafted using the sculptural technique of needle-felting. We build every expression and contour strand by strand, creating portraits that feel warm, intimate, and alive.
When clients provide real fur or whiskers, we can incorporate them into the artwork, making the tribute deeply personal and irreplaceable.

Isla studied Fine Arts in university. With a natural love for animals and a solid foundation in sculptural arts, she taught herself needle-felting after graduation and discovered in wool a medium that beautifully merges realism, warmth, and emotion.
She personally oversees every commission—from concept to completion—ensuring each portrait carries sincerity, precision, and soul.
